DRIVE AND RAMBLE THE HIMALAYAN GARDENS 25 MAY 2008 |

Meet at Grewelthorpe at 10.45am. (The meeting point is alongside the village pond (photo) on the left when you take the Kirby Road from Ripon. The gardens (HG4 3DA) will be signposted from there, it is you first turning on the left (Hutts Lane). (Aerial photo of Grewelthorpe)
Note: There will be problems getting through Ripon due to a big building programme in the centre, allow a little extra time to follow the diversions.
We will have Sunday Lunch at the Crown Inn at the village. We need to make a booking so names to me (AGu) by 19 May.
After lunch we will take a short drive and visit the Druids Temple and also a viewing of Leighton Reservoir. Afterwards a drive to Masham marketplace for a drink or an ice-cream, then back home from there. (Art and Crafts Fair, free entrance, Masham Town Hall, 10-4.30pm)
